Very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) is a lipoprotein produced by the liver and converted into low density lipoprotein in the blood, whose main function is to transport endogenous triglycerides, cholesterol, phospholipids, and cholesterol lipids. The five major lipoproteins are divided into the following categories (from high to low) according to their molecular weight: chyle (CM), very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), intermediate density lipoprotein (IDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and VLDL move fat and cholesterol through the water-soluble blood. VLDL particles are 30-80 nm in diameter.

Human Very Low Density Lipoprotein (Human VLDL), d≤1.006 g/mL, obtained from healthy human plasma, purified by ultracentrifugation, and its homogeneity and purity were detected by agarose electrophoresis. This product is packed with aseptic nitrogen and can be directly diluted for use.

Dilution method

Shipping and Storage

The product is shipped with ice pack and can be stored sterile at 4°C, protected from light for 6 weeks upon receipt.

Cautions

1. The diluted product is extremely unstable, it is recommended to use it immediately.

2. Precipitation may occur in long-term storage, which is a normal phenomenon. Centrifuge at low speed for 2 mins to remove the precipitate and use it.
